I photographed Morgan and Steve soon after they moved to Ridgway from the DC area, like my own family, in search of a slower pace in the mountains. At that time they were expecting their first child, a daughter, and they braved the freezing December temps for outdoor maternity photos. This Spring they welcomed a baby girl, Avery, and welcomed me into their home to capture some special moments of their first days together....
Brooke and Andrew closed out the winter wedding season for us with their elopement at the top of San Sophia. Witnesses to the ceremony skied and snowboarded past and offered congratulatory hoots before heading down the steep terrain during this last weekend before the mountain closed. Following the ceremony, their fur baby joined the party for some family photos along the San Miguel River. Afterwards, the bride and groom took on downtown Telluride, including a visit to the Old Bar at the New Sheridan Hotel and a champagne toast along Colorado Avenue with gorgeous Ajax Mountain towering behind.
